About this tour

We ride around the historic market town of Guildford and then deep into the Swan Valley. We visit the Chocolate factory, but for those who like savoury, there is a delicious relish and sauce tasting venue right next door. There’s wine, and chocolate liqueur tasting as well. We then ride past, of all things in this beautiful place, a prison, and then drop into two of the very best riverside Swan Valley wineries, where, of course, we stop to taste their wines. Remember we still have 15 minutes more cycling to do, so don’t drink too much wine. For those who like to browse the arts, craft and bric-a-bac shops, there are several waiting for you just a few steps from our finishing point at Guildford station. It’s a very easy, safe and fun ride, even for those who rarely ride a bike.

What you should bring

We provide the bike and helmet, and you should bring a hat (a cap is best to fit under the helmet), phone/camera, sunglasses, water, Cash for us if you haven’t prepaid¬†and $4.50 for your train fare back to Perth. Wine tastings are included.

Meeting Point and time

Guildford Station is on the Midland line.
If you leave Perth Central Railway station, platform 8 on the 9.00am train, you’ll get to Guildford at 9.18am which is perfect. If you miss that train there’s another 15 minutes later and we’ll wait for you to arrive, but the 9.00am train is best.

It’s really important
that you walk the correct way when you get off the train. Walk BACK down the platform (towards Perth), not forwards, towards the overhead walk ways at the front end of the platform. When you get to the crossing point, where you walk across the railway line, turn right towards the car park, not left towards the shops. You’ll find us waiting for you in the car park.
